It looks like Apple is done with the home button for good, the 3 new iphones
that Apple announced are based on the new iphone X form factor, the Iphone
XS replaces the Iphone X from last year, the Iphone XS max sounds like it's
the plus version with a larger screen, and the Iphone XR is the cheaper
version. The iphone 7 and 8 will remain as Apple's budget iphone models and
the Iphone SE has been discontinued. This means that Apple no longer sells
any phones with a small form factor now or that have a headphone jack. I got
an iphone 8 and iphone SE earlier this year so have no interest in getting
any of these new ones at this point, and I'm just not ready to give up the
home button yet either.
