Hello to all,
I've been beta testing iOS twelve since the end of June and it has been working
fine for me using an iPad Mini two. I do not think that griping about issues on
list is productive, since not many have had any. The best thing to do is email
Apple Accessibility and tell them of all the issues and they can fix them.
Since you are experiencing these issues, you should become a member of the
Apple Beta Software Program, at beta.apple.com and you can report your findings
directly to Apple engineers. In my experience beta testing for iOS realises
over the years, Apple engineers have been fixing the bugs I have reported. So
instead of griping on this list, which does not do anything, email Apple
Accessibility and/or beta test the iOS twelve updates that are soon to come.
Thanks,
Daniel

When I first got my SE, I had to update to 11.4.0. As I said before I had all
kind of stuff I changed for the sake of my battery and of my poor phone that
would get hot from all that battery stuff.

I don't think I had any problem, when I updated to 11.4.1.

I turned off Raise to Wake. One thing that was on there was a driving monitor,
and it wouldn't let me use it, if it thought I was driving, and that thing
monitored me from the time I would step out of my door. I got that on manual,
took off track my location, and I know I tweaked a little more, but can't
remember now. I'm not the greatest one with one of these things. Anyway, I
managed to get it to where sometimes I can go a couple of days without charging
even maybe three if I don't happen to use it much.

Best regards,

Carolyn

You know... So far, there haven't really been any posts griping about iOS 12.
Not even remotely close to the issues talked about here. Be it in regards to
accessibility or performance. Sounds like a rather isolated case if anything.
So far since upgrading yesterday, I haven't had any of these problems on my SE.
One of the main issues Mario mentions seems to be the rapid battery drain, Are
you sure it's not simply just an issue of the battery needing to be swapped
out?
All the other drama and stuff . . . well, seems kind of overkill to me, but
hey, it's not my phone suddenly acting all wonky.
