When you use your iPhone, Are you dictating via the built-in microphone or do you use a headset? Do you have a case on your iPhone?

How the heck can I clear out whatever I-message is using, and start fresh, it's the app that I use most frequently, and I would really like to be able to count on its dictation capabilities.
