While it looks like you can play your Amazon music from within the Amazon app
on iPhone, I have always found it much easier to use Apple Music. If you know
the song or artist you want to hear you can ask Siri to play it and if your
taste in music isn't too far out there from the "norm" it will usually just
happen and you don't have to mess with Shortcuts to get it to work. If you
don't know just what to say you can search by artist, song title or even a
little bit of the lyrics of a song that you happen to remember from within
Apple Music and often I find what I want that way. It's very easy to add new
music to your library but this doesn't mean it has to take up space on your
devices because you have a choice to actually download it for offline listening
or not. Now with apple music coming to Echo devices soon it seems pretty much
like Apple Music will continue to be my choice. Last but certainly not least,
most phones are with their people almost all the time so your Apple Music is
always right there with you!

I don't have either Amazon music or Apple Music at this time but have thought
about subscribing to one but not both. Because I am a Prime member, Amazon is
less expensive but I have found that purchasing music from them is really
difficult these days and for that reason I am more reluctant to use them. So,
having said all that, do people overall have any preference between these
services?
