I would like to offer a different perspective here. I have Parkinson’s Disease
and, while it is not severe (and my docs do not think it will be), I have come
to appreciate just how much subtle motor control It takes to use the iPhone
touch screen. The one thing I have had to give up because of Parkinson’s that
made me sad is using a slate and stylus, which is something I used to do daily
with considerable speed and accuracy... in fact, that was the impetus that sent
me to the neurologist. I also have occasional difficulty controlling how many
times I tap something,be it the iPhone screen or my Victor when I enter the
title of a book with that cockamainey texting system it uses.

I am using a Bluetooth keyboard to type this message which, as indicated by
its length, presents no problem for me. It is the subtle control needed to
punch dot 4 instead of 1 with a stylus, or to double tap on the phone that is
challenging. Sent from my iPhone
