Terri, I think this scanner is well worth the money. Like Richard, I wish it could read columns. As it stands now, I use it to check mail. Even though I may not get everything, I definitely get enough to know if the mail is junk or needs more serious attention. I like the speed and the tone to help you align the page for accurate scan. I also like the fact that you do not have to worry at lighting in your room, as the scanner adjusts lighting.
