In my view, getting used to the Twitter official app is the way to go. I don't only follow blind people's accounts, and many of the users that post to my timeline use features like surveys that are not available from third party clients. If the rumors that Twitter will open its api to let developer implement all features, maybe I will consider a different alternative. For now I'm just fine.
