Hi Tom,

No, you are not alone. I can certainly verify the first issue you mentioned. As 
far as threads are concerned, are used to land on the first message of the 
thread so I’m not experiencing that issue. Like you, I keep popping an apple 
fix it, but the male issue has been a problem in life in the beginning. I think 
it’s the worst update apples ever sent out here. I don’t know if it’s ever 
going to get fixed in iOS 13. But I keep hoping it will at some point.
