Hi,
I believe they rolled this out around November. It worked with my 2nd gen dot before I upgraded. Like I said sometimes I've found more times than not lately that if a skill is acting funny disabling and re-enabling it might cause things to link up so if it doesn't work with your dot try that before surrendering. I hope it works.
