not saying an individual can change it, my objection was to the original poster 
saying “I don’t care who makes my iphone; it’s made my life so much easier’ a 
statement like that, I can’t even fathom it! if we speak out about caring 
that’s a start. saying I can’t change it, so who cares. what if everyone did 
that? here’s an example. I’m vegan. will I change other people killing and 
eating animals, no, but I can change me, and that’s the only thing I can do 
then I know I’m not contributing to animal suffering. we all have to care a 
little bit more.
