I did call Audible and got a very helpful support person. She told me the remaining time was on the mini player which is near the bottom just above the bottomline buttons which include Home, Library, etc. from left to right. I find that swiping once to the right when focus is on the mini player play button lands me on the book title which is announced followed by the current chapter number and then the time remaining in the book. I'm pretty certain this information used to be announced when in the full player mode but I might be wrong about that. I updated the Audible app yesterday and I'm no longer hearing the time remaining in the book and was wondering if others using the app are experiencing the same thing.
