Hi Kawal, You used to buy books directly from the app, but Apple has made that impossible. I guess it could still be possible if Audible which of course means Amazon were to agree to pay Apple their percentage whatever that is for every book purchased through the app.
By the way, what do you mean "it's in stereo now"? You still have to set your audio book quality in your preference, 1 through 4 and Enhanced. I personally prefer 4 as it is vey good yet the files are much smaller than with enhanced. I know you can cancel your membership and sign up again and you can also sign up with multiple emails so you get your first free book, but I personally don't want to have to manage multiple Audible accounts and I use it constantly so this is not for me. I haven't looked at the membership options so until now I wasn't aware that you could prepay the Gold or Platinum membership for the year and save a bit of money. When you mentioned you bought 12 credits I thought it was some other promotion or deal and not just the prepaid Gold membership. I will definitely switch to a prepaid annual membership as well, but right now I have 12 books in my library I haven't read yet from their last big $4.95 sale, so once I need more books I'll go ahead and buy the 24 credits.
