I am not sure it is on the iOS device for POP3 accounts, you set that on the web side, like for Gmail. I am not finding it for iMap on the iOS device either. Maybe I should do research before replying? But, all my accounts are set up as iMap, and I don’t permanently delete messages until I’m on my computer out of habit from the old days. This might be worth a call to Apple to double check the official word.
