The reason why I only pay $10 per month for apple care, is because last year something new from apple is offered here in the US. I had to get the $10 per month option within 30 days of my apple care+ expiring. I took advantage of it, and I'm happy with it. I am waiting for my iPhone to get to at least 80%, then I will have the battery replaced.
