Fing print or touch ID hasn’t been available on any of the face id phones apple have produced. The last touch Id phone from apple ws the SE 2020 And before that the 8 and 8+.
But don’t let this put you off as the face id phones are great and just as if not more useable than the phones with touch id. Then the only time you’ll need to passcode your phone is when wearing a mask. I’ve never gotten face recognition with a mask. Hats kinda throw it for a loop as well.
