I’m in process of setting up a new iPhone 13 Mini. I got it connected to my iPhone SE 2020 to do the device to device transfer. I got this started and got face ID set up and then I was prompted to update the new iPhone to iOS 15.01 which I began. This has been going on for about an hour and I’m losing patience. I’m also curious why in the world a new device is set by default to turn off after about 30 seconds. I’m having to touch the screen every 30 seconds to prevent the device from going to sleep which I believe will stop the iOS update. I’m hesitant to do a cold reset with the volume up, volume down, and power buttons but I’m losing patience. I welcome your recommendations and thanks in advance.
