Hi, list.

I am trying to log into my Bank of America app on my 8 Plus using iOS 15,,
and am finding it frustrating.

I got the on line account set up anew at my local branch last month and
finally got the courage to try to log in by mself after reading the terms of
service agreement.

So I tried to enter what I thought was the user ID and password and could
not consistently put myself in the edit boxes with my Bluetooth keyboard,
nor could I find an on screen keyboard when I turned the Bluetooth off, I
know sometimes sites and apps can be picky about requiring the on screen
keyboard.

Occasionally I could get into the fields and get the bonks instead of clicks
we have discussed before, and noted the log in button showing as dimmed as
we have noted as well, but at one point I got a notice the password or ID
didn't match what was on file, and I had only a couple tries left. So I
used the forgot password section and eventually got sent to me an
authorization code to reset, but those edit boxes were difficult to get into
as well. All the while I am having trouble finding the continue button when
it's required. I didn't find the send request button right away when it was
time for the code to be sent to me.

I did get that entered eventually, and I could have just changed the
password, but I went back and again tried what I believed I knew to be the
password.

At least I confirmed I was using the correct user ID, but when I enter the
log in screen it is showing me something elsd that was probably the old ID
which was under a different email, and I can't seem to get that edited out.

I'm unsure as to whether to check the box for save ID, I believe it is, and
maybe that's part of the problem too, the old ID may hae been saved
someplace.

I've been getting the email alerts since I set up the ID last month, but I
am really wanting to customize alerts and look over recent transactions, as
I have had some trouble with some unexplained overdraws of late. I'd even
like to try their voice assistant, if it works well with using VoiceOver.

I did get an email saying my user ID had been looked up, giving a phone
number to call for trouble logging in. I am hesitant to call it, as I am
not sure how much experience they would have dealing with a blind person
using VoiceOver.

On one positive note, I deposited a check through an ATM for the first time,
though I had to help since I didn't have ear buds with me to activate the
speech. If I hadn't been able to do that, my finances would have beeneven
worse.
