Hi All,

That is certainly one of several ways to block text messages from a specified
source. There are at least two more ways to do this:

1) Provided the sender you want to block is in your Contacts, open the Phone
app, select the “Contacts” tab at the bottom, locate the offending contact and
open it, activate the “Edit” button and finally locate and activate the “Block”
button at the bottom of the contact dialog.

2) Or you can open “Settings” and activate the “Phone” item. Then locate and
activate the “Block Senders” button, in the resulting dialog locate and
activate the “Add” button and then simply fill in the telephone number you
desire to block.

Seems like there ought to be a simpler way to do this. I’ve done this using
both above methods and the method Dan suggested enough times that it seems easy
enough to me until I start giving written instructions!!! YIKES!!!!
