Carolyn, Open the messages app. Find & tap on the message that you want to block. Go to the top of the page & swipe to the email address or the phone number of the person who sent the message. Tap on the email address or phone number. A menu will appear, swipe down to Info & tap. Swipe down to Block This Caller & tap. I think that you may have to tap to confirm. --- If the message has multiple recipients, you will have to copy the first email address or phone number in the list of recipients of the message. Then go to settings, phone & swipe down to Blocked Callers & paste the copied info into the edit field to add the messager to the Block list.
