I also use a thermostat that uses the total connect comfort app, works great. It's my first thermostat that can be controlled through the internet and I would never go back to a thermostat without this feature. The current model nest thermostat is controlled in the google home app and this app is also accessible. None of the thermostats themselves are accessible so you will need sighted help to connect the wires and configure the thermostat for the type of system you have.
