You are right, that worked. I launched the app and the volume was extremely low. I opened the app switcher and tapped on the Alexa app and it brought the volume back up to normal. THANK YOU SO MUCH! That is a very doable fix. It is weird how the volume issue is a random thing though.

I think the other method has to do with changing the setting so it isn't always listening for its name. I have mine listening, and the app switcher trick seems to work fine for me.
