Greetings,
I have noticed lately that the battery on my iPhone 12 seems to hold a charge
for less period of time than before. I realize that I use my phone a lot, but
it seems as though I have to charge it much more than before. I don’t use any
new apps that would take up a lot of battery, and I close the apps that I
frequently use. Also, I noticed that there are more times these days where my
phone gets warm, we are as I don’t think I have noticed that before. There are
times when it actually gets hot.
Should I be concerned with more charges, and the battery going down faster than
before? Should I be concerned regarding the warmth or heat of my phone at times?
My iPhone is right at two years old. I got it October, 2020. I definitely
qualify for an upgrade now, and I am wondering if this might be a sign to look
at something new.
I am going on vacation next week, and I want my phone to behave and keep a
battery charge for a while. I don’t want to go from 100% charge in the morning
to less than 30% charge f five or six hours later, when the phone is hardly
being used. This is not normal for me.
Any thoughts?
Jim
