Also, Sieghard makes a great point about the regular 14 models since they have the same chip as the iPhone 13 series, don’t bother with anything less than the 14 pro, or get a discounted 13 pro, or, probably better, wait for the 15 and see if they do the same dumb—s trick of giving the pro models the new chip and leaving the previous chip in the non-pro models…

Having said what I said in my previous message I would wait until next year and buy an iPhone 15 or 15 Pro. It is extremely likely that next year the Lightning port goes away and a USB-C port is put in its place; whether we'll see Touch Id again in addition to Face Id is unlikely but not entirely out of the picture and I certainly won't upgrade my iPhone 11 which works great until next year.
