Hi,

I'm sorry from further reading you didn't get the resolution you wanted.  I've found that sometimes if the app misbehaves it's best to disable all notifications I've set within the app and then re-enabling them being careful to be sure my designated place for them when required is set. It wouldn't cost anything but a bit of time and effort to give that a go if you haven't already.
