Probably a temporary glitch, for me all is working as expected but once again it is really important to wait for a heartbeat or two before you ask Siri whatever it is you want after the tone. I still forget sometimes and yesterday said "Siri call 250-847-1234" which of course is just a sample number, Siri came back and said "I can't call 08471234 so it clearly shows that the first part of what I said was not understood because I spoke to quickly.

The only way to text is to open the messages app and dictate a message from within an existing conversation or compose from scratch. I've turned SIRI off than on again, I've restarted my phone, and I've double-checked that send SMS messages is on. Is there anything else I can try? This is really annoying, to say the least.
