Hi Flor, What I've found to be the most common culprit when this happens is that Dropbox is showing in the system tray like it's connected to the server, but in all actuality it's not running / connected to the Dropbox server. Try starting Dropbox using your desktop icon shortcut, or rebooting the computer and restarting Dropbox that way.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Hello, I have the iOS (current up-to-date published version) of Dropbox, and the Dropbox Desktop app for Windows. Sometimes, when I wish to share a file with others, and drop my file into their folder shared with me, using my Desktop's Dropbox, it's not shared or being seen by those others with whom the folders are shared. (I can ascertain that this will be the case and is, if, as sometimes happens, the files aren't being seen by me on my iPhone either, in the folders.) The current solution I've found to this is to connect my iPhone to my PC, and with a bit of navigating and what-not, getting both my Dropboxes to see each other on-line. Has anyone else experienced this anomaly, and have you solved it without recourse to uninstalling either the iOS version or the Windows Desktop version of Dropbox? I have found Dropbox to be quite opaque, when trying to ferret out issues. Help appreciated. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
