Robin, I never thought of that.  This was over two years ago.  I left my review in response to an update that broke my ability to accurately rate a shopper.  I just heard star, star, star, when I swiped in that area.  There was no indication when using VO of how many stars were being selected.  I mentioned that an inaccessible app might lead to a blind person giving a shopper a bad rating when they didn't deserve one.  Perhaps this rationale could be used with the tip adjustment issue.  I always default to 15% because I need the shopper to carry the groceries in and sit them down just inside my door.  I usually bump it up or at least tack on an extra $5  Not being able to adjust the tip could lead to shoppers not wanting to shop for us or just quitting all together, not that there's that many of us, but it's a thought.

The last time I had an issue with Instacart I left them a one star rating in the app store and spelled out the accessibility issues in detail.  They got fixed in a subsequent update. This was in about 2022 or so.

    Funny you say this about Shipt, I just got a one-month
    subscription to try it out due to my absolute inability to
    effectively communicate with Instacart regarding accessibility
    related concerns.

    I’m still wrestling with the inability to search for products
    beyond those which Instacart recommends for replacement options. 
    Some have said they can find a search button with screen
    recognition turned on but I cannot reproduce this at all running
    iOS 17.5.1 and the latest version of the Instacart app which by me
    is version 8.26.0 34014.

    I’m sorry to hear yet another thing has broken. This is very
    disheartening and since grocery procurement is such a vital pert
    of life it saddens me that many of the consumer orgs don’t pay
    more attention to such matters.
