Aaron, Are there things you can't do on the iPhone that you believe you could
do with an Android device? Android still isn't up to ios in accessibility,
although it is getting better. If you are a braille user, IOS definitely has a
lead, as you still don't have grade II input on android with the latest
brailleback. And brailleback is not well integrated into the os as braille
support with IOS is. It seems like the folks who love Android do so because
they value the ability to tinker with their phones, use custom roms etc, as
well as being able to transfer files directly using a pc. But you have a Mac,
and transferring stuff from a Mac isn't so easy. Are you a tecny tinkerer? Or
do you want your phone to just work and help you get things done? If the later,
then I'd definitely not move to Android, as you will gain nothing IMHO. There
is a not inconsiderable learning curve, and documentation is not wonderful.

I have a Nexus 7. I enjoy it, because I particularly like the Ivona speech that
I read books with. But web browsing is nowhere near as good as it is on IOS in
my view. Perhaps with the nightly builds of Firefox, it is, but again, that's a
hassle. Accessibility is really getting better on Android. But if I could have
just one or the other, my choice would be simple. IOS, period. Maybe that will
change in a year or two. But for the time being. no way.
