Hi Rose, I think there were a couple steps omitted but here's what works here under Win7.
1. Press the Windows key to bring up the search box. 2. Press right arrow & (you should hear Shutdown". 3. Downarrow (or press the letter M several times if necessary) until you hear "Music". 4. Press "enter". 5. Press the letter I until you hear "iTunes". 6. Press "Enter". 7. Press the letter I again until you hear "iTunes Media". 8. press enter. In this folder are subfolders for "Music" "Tones "Podcasts" etc. 9. Press the letter a until you hear "automatically add to iTunes". 10. Press enter. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Rose Combs Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2013 8:35 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Finding Automatically Add to iTunes folder was Re: Voice Over friendly ring tone app Not working here, I get to the iTunes folder, if I press enter it opens iTunes, if I press context is asks if I want to open and blah, blah. I can follow directions but this is not working here. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Sherrie Sent: Monday, March 18, 2013 8:29 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Finding Automatically Add to iTunes folder was Re: Voice Over friendly ring tone app Rose, You don't need to type in any path names to find the folder. Press windows key to open Start menu. Right arrow once to Shut Down and then down arrow to Music. Press i to get to the iTunes folder The folder is in there and is called "Automatically add to iTunes" If you bring up the context menu with Applications key or Shift F10 while you are on this folder you can choose Send to desktop. That puts a shortcut to the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder on your desktop where it is easy to find. Admittedly I have not looked particularly hard and I truly hate long path names with a lot of slashes to get anywhere, it means more stuff can be done but just like long URLs they are a pain. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Raul A. It is true that it is not very professional, but if you're looking for fun ring tones then this is the best one that I have found. When you mentioned emailing the ringtones to yourself, are you meaning on the regular PC or everything from the iPhone? It is my understanding in order for ringtones to be added successfully, they need to be done via iTunes on the computer. Although, there is a way to do it from the iPhone since you can purchase ring tones from the iTunes app in the iPhone itself. I have never done this since I have never purchased music or tones from iTunes. So I admit that I do not have much experience with this. I always make my own ring tones or get them from an app like the one I suggested. On Mar 16, 2013, at 3:52 PM, "Sherrie" <nanagoose4...@gmail.com> wrote: > Thanks for this heads up. I downloaded the app and was amazed at the number of ring tones available. The directions were very complete and easy to understand. I also liked the fact that is was super easy to just email the ringtones to myself and put them into iTunes just by playing the ring tone attachment. > Sherrie Gosling > > > -----Original Message----- From: Raul A. Once you download > them using the app they show up in the file sharing section of iTunes when your phone is connected. You get 10 free downloads and adds. If you upgrade to no ads then you also get unlimited downloads. The cost for that is $1.99.
