I've just managed, with persistence, to get Talking Goggles to tell me the details of my new credit card. I then used FaceTime to check with someone sighted and the only thing it hadn't got was my name (not an issue) and the security code (but I think that was cos I had it the wrong way round). I managed to establish my number and my start and expiry dates. This may not sound like much, and it took quite a while, and is by no means fullproof, but, it is just an added thing I was able to do more independently. Living on my own this is very much needed! High praise to the video function on talking goggles!
