It's hard to believe, but that is about right. When I first got my iPod 4th
gen, 64GB, it said that I only had like 56 GB available. I guess with
everything that comes preloaded on the device and all of the programming and
formatting, it eats up that much room. My 5th gen, 32GB said I only had 28GB
available.
