I thought that at first, since that's what I'm used to in the PC space,
but I figured, since Apple controls the hardware and the operating
system, there's no reason they can't use the same definition of a
gigabyte. I suspect you're right though.

Okay, got my 5^th gen touch today. And it is the 64GB model. Now I
know it comes preloaded with some stuff, but 8GB? It is telling me all
