Hi Joanne,

Close the app store, then find the app that is stuck and double tap on it.
If the update has paused, this will force it to resume. If the update fails
you should get a message, something like "App Store Unavailable" or similar.
If that is the case, wait a while and double tap the app again, maybe even
wait over night. I have never had to delete an app and reinstall it from
scratch because I couldn't update it. Sometimes it take a bit, but it
usually always works eventually.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi All,

I have similar problem, where some of the apps stuck on the updates on
the appstore. I've 3 apps now that got stuck on the update. No matter
what i do, it won't update or clear the update unless i delete the
apps and reinstall again.

Any other solution?
