Hi, Mary.

I'm a bit confused by this, Sendero has always offered a thirty day
trial of their product, certainly with Mobile Geo on Windows Mobile
phones and I believe that BrailleNote owners could also try their
product on the BrailleNote before purchase, though I'm not sure of
this last. Thirty day trials are fairly standard in the industry, if I
may say so, even hardware has return policies and I can't think of one
reasonably expensive product for the blind which doesn't offer a free
trial for a certain number of days, a certain number of minutes, or
both. If they're concerned about people abusing the trial system, they
could tie it to the receipt of a text message code at a phone number,
to the device's UDID, or to some other identifier which is fairly
difficult to change. Trial periods are important for any product,
IMHO, and are so easy to put together in software that the vast
majority of companies allow them, though under different names.
