Hi Kerri,

Most apps have a link to either an email or support site. This could be in
Help, About or More, depending how the app is laid out. You can, of course,
always Google an app, find the developer's website and see if there is a
contact form or email address listed.

As for what to say, well, I usually tell the developer that I am a blind
iPhone user and have to rely on Voiceover and Apple's fantastic built-in
accessibility features to use my iPhone. I also often say that i am part of
a google group where over 1,700 visually impaired iPhone users help each
other and discuss apps and accessibility and that this list is constantly
growing because Apple offers great accessibility and also more and more
developers follow apple's accessibility guidelines to make sure their apps
can be used by a Voiceover user.

I then of course explain in as much detail as possible what about a
particular app works or does not work and ask if the developer would be
willing to look into this and hopefully improve the accessibility of his or
her app.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Re: ACcessible apps for Searching For Flights?

Hi:

How did you figure out who to contact, and what did you say?
I would like to possibly contact travelocity to make their app accessible.
The only thing that isn't accessible about it is the calendar part,
and if they would fix that, it would be fully accessible.
Expedia seems to be accessible. I am able to search for flights. Thank
you so much for telling me about tis app.
Thanks,
Kerri
