Raul,

My friend, I think you over reacted here. I was not, repeat, was not
targeting Dan when I wrote my message, it was a general message to the list.
Are you suggesting that I am not entitled to express an opinion?

Hello E V. Your quote of "If tasks get to difficult, then find a way to >
overcome your challenges. That applys to just about everything in life." is
a bit disturbing to me. Here is why.

First off, what do you personally know about Dan, or about most others who
subscribe to this list? Do you know what challenges someone might be faced
with other than blindness, or maybe blindness is already a challenge as it
is for some individuals and it's a daily struggle just to get by as it is.

If I talk about me personally I can tell you that I've overcome the problems
of losing my eye sight. However had someone said what you wrote to me during
the first few years of me losing my sight, my response to you would be very
harsh. You don't personally know my situation, whether I can overcome things
or not. I agree that many things in life can be overcome, but not everyone
is the same, not everyone has positive people around them, or maybe not
everyone thinks in the same way to give them the ability to easily overcome
challenges in life.

So, before making assumptions of someone's message on list, let's step back
for a bit and think how our message may sound or how it may come off. For
example, how might you feel if using a harsh tone I pointed out that you
misspelled the word "applies" because you wrote it as "applys".

Thanks much from your friendly moderator.
