OT, but related: any mileage in Scrabble? it works the same except you
make up all the words. I could make an online version of that, but not this
kind of CW puzzle. not got the words or clues you see.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for your note regarding this issue, as I was curious about why I was
still seeing clues for puzzle 1 after opening puzzle 2, for puzzle 2 after
opening puzzle 3, et cetera. I've noticed this too, and my solution for now
is just to close Four Down, then take it out of the app switcher, then
restart.
BTW, I really like this app and am looking forward to the update. Keep up

Unfortunately, the problem that you're seeing is a bug with the VoiceOver
support. It's showing the new puzzle on the screen but is unfortunately
still announcing the clues from the previous puzzle. Please accept my
apologies.
The good news is that I've submitted a fix to Apple: I'm just waiting for
it to be reviewed and then it'll be available to you. In the meantime,
closing the app using the app switcher (double-tap the home button to access
it) and opening it again will allow you to tackle another puzzle.
