Hi,

question 1. Its saying thumbnail width, not whip. This is said along with
other spacial information when you do a 3 finger single tap on the screen. For
example. If your on the first app on your home screen, voiceover will report
the place of voiceover focus and say row 1 column 1(position of the app) the
page the app is on, thumbnail width, (the size of the object in focus, etc.

Question 2. A side bar is a pop up on the screen. Some times instead of going
to a new page when you double tap on something, a new window will appear.

3. Like others have mentioned, a part of your hand that is holding the device
is probably coming in contact with the screen. This is pretty easy to do with
an iPad I’ve found.

4. In a nut shell, its harder to put apps on top of on one another because
there is more space in between app icons on your home screen. Voiceover tells
you your finger is on an app before you are physically on it with your finger.
This is fine for opening apps, but you need to actually be on it to create
folders.
