Open iTunes. Down-arrow to iPhone in the main list. Tab to the Apps radial button and select it. Tab to the table of apps which allows transfers to and from the computer. Find the app which you wish to transfer files to or from. If transferring files from the app, one tab gets you into the column of files. Select the ones you want. If transferring files to the app, tab once more to browse, select it, browse to the file(s), select them, and complete the process. Note: my apologies for being more vague with these final instructions. I now use a Mac, so the final instructions are slightly different, and I do not remember the exact final steps for the PC. That said, I almost always use iTunes rather than the other options given.
