Hi Reggie, 

Sometimes, I go into the settings menu and turn on "Airplane" and then turn it 
back off. It kills all the radio signals, which in a way allows a simple 
default of the settings. Have you tried this? Is your account still listed in 
the "mail, calendar…" menu in settings? In the past, I have needed to delete 
the account and set it back up again. Also, in settings on the phone,in general 
at at the bottom is the reset button. Have you tried to reset the network? 
Unfortunately, if you do this, you will need to insert the password again, but 
it may get it working without deleting the account and going to all that 
extreme. HTH.
