Hi what is the difference between I messages and sms? If I was to turn this on
in the Settings, what will that do and why would I want that. Thanks so your
help. Andy

Go to Settings, swipe down to messages and make sure send and SMS messages is
turned on. This will allow you to send and receive SMS when iMessage isn't
available.

  Hi,
I have an iPhone 4s and have unlimited text messenging but very little
cellular data.
The other day I was out and a friend sent me an iMessage. I didn’t get this
since I was not at home on wifi all day and have my data turned off.
My question is how can I ensure that I get all messages from contacts when I
am out somewhere? I know iMessages use data or wifi so how can I have them set
as normal text messages. I have an iPod touch as well so want to be able to
have people be able to contact via email as well.
Please help since I don’t want to miss receiving messsages.
