so automatic. When it goes off, it's very loud. Loud enough to wake you up
but it certainly will get your attention as it was designed to do. I don't
believe you can turn that one off. I believe though that you can turn off
the Amber Alert feature if it's available in your area. Of course, if it
isn't then you need not be concerned about it.

sound like?
They are pretty loud and pretty annoying. From what I know, you have to be
in the geographic area of an alert for them to sound. For instance if an
alert was given for Edgewood, and you were in Baltimore, you wouldn't get
the alert.

Well, we had the weather sirens go off last night in a very big storm, and
my emergency tones were never heard. I guess I'll have to do some research
on what exactly triggers them. They are on, so I thought they should have
sounded, but they did not. I'll see what I can find.

Hi,
The phone will also vibrate as well when an emergency alert comes in. So,
it
will vibrate as well as play that tone. It is definitely loud for sure and
will definitely get your attention.
Hope this helps,
Jeffrey

Hi,
It sounds a lot like the emergency broadcast system tests you hear on the
radio from time to time - very loud and will definitely get your
attention.

Hello. I have a question. Seeing as we are in tornado season now, what
tonedo I need to be listening for, that will let me know when there is a
tornado warning or when there is a government issued alert. I'm told it
sounds a little bit different and I'm just curious to know what it sounds
like? Does anybody know? Thank you.
