I'm new to this list, and got my first smartphone / iPhone in February.
In relation to the original question of this thread: Doesn't 'show my
caller ID(on/off) in Settings | Phone, toggle the state of this? . So
that, if you didn't want it on, ever, or for a period, you could turn it
off this way? I'd prefer to know who's calling, myself; but I can
understand someone not necessarily wanting to know.
