Hi, Just a thought: you double tap for the quick catcher, yes? Then, you double tap for the take picture, yes? The picture won't be taken until you have double tapped on "take picture". You need to hear the tones before it will take the picture. As you are trying this freehand, are you sure you have adequate lighting? Unfortunately, with Prizmo, the Flash doesn't come on until the pictures taken, so, if the lighting is inadequate the autofocusing function can't really kick in. In this regard, TextGrabber is better because you can turn the flash on and it stays on all the time while the camera is searching to take a picture. Also, I am finding that both of these OCR apps behave better when I have less apps open in the app switcher.
