I have the bard reading app on both my iPhone and my iPad Air. The audio quality on my Air is by far better then it is on my iPhone. I just wish one day they make it where you can start listening on one device and pickup where you left off on the other one. I don't mind downloading the same book on both my iPhone and my iPad so only a place marker would be needed to be sent to the other devices.

Regards,

Alan

There, you'll find free files of my arrangements and performances played on
the Yamaha Tyros 1 keyboard. The albums in Technics format formerly on my website are still available upon request. Thanks for listening!

Subject: Re: This might seem like a strange question about ipad mini vs iphone

In my case, I muse my Ipad mini as my main reading device. It has much
better battery life and better speakers than my specialized players.
Unlike the specialized players I now have, I can't download books to
them like my ipad mini.

Hi,

The sad truth is that I hardly use my iPad at all. NB: this won't
change when the next iPad is announced unless they shrink it down to
the size of an iPhone which isn't going to happen for reasons that are
hopefully obvious.

I find browsing the internet to be more pleasurable on an iPad than it
is on an iPhone as I'm into feeling the layout of pages, but I still
use a computer for this sort of thing by default. Every now and again
I'll be out and about for a few days & I'll be without a laptop which
would be a good oppertunity for my iPad to shine, but I tend to take a
bluetooth keyboard with me for these trips anyway, so the touch screen
doesn't get that much use.

I've purchased two iPads so far with the intent of finding a use for
them, but for me at least, there isn't really a space in my life for a
device that isn't a phone or a PC.

Cheers,
Ben.

Thought I'd help out by posting a relevant link on this iPhone vs iPad
question; it is information regarding a similar question asked in the
past--the information's source is from the ViPhone list archives:

The beauty of reading archived messages is that most of the follow-up
questions you may have will most likely have previously been asked and
answered, which means you don't have to ask the same question and wait for
an answer as the answer is already available. <Smile>.
