You have the Mini summed up at its best here, you go for it, even a 2nd hand
one, cheaper, but still just as good.
Battery life is its other great thing for indoor use, keep the phone battery
for phone and outdoor things.

Didn't keep it long enough to know how well mBraille got fixed to work on
it.

I had ooTunes on it for all the foreign radio, Bogotar and around there;
love that music!

iphone

HI all. I have thought at times about getting an iPad Mini. For me,
since I have a hearing loss, the larger speakers would be a definite
plus to having either the Pad or the Mini. Also, my wife would benefit
from the larger screen since she has to squint lots of times to be
able to read the smaller iPhone screen. Granted, she has a 5C but
still. I am totally blind and if I were to get a iPad, I would not get
the largest iPad. That is too much empty space for me to navigate. I
could better navigate the Mini's screen size. That seems like more of
a happy medium for me between the phone and the largest iPad. In my
case, I would probably use a Mini for listening to books, music and
other entertainment things, where my iPhone is my go-to communication
device. My wife would use it for the larger screen to play all her
games.
