Hello folks, When I try to go to the voicemail tab using iOS8 on a 4S, the app closes. I did a network reset and a system restore, but this did not solve the problem. The only work around is to turn voiceover off, touch the corner where the voicemail icon is, then turn voiceover back on. I also noticed a strange behavior using the dial pad. Sometimes if I dial a passcode or a number while I interact with a voice message requiring me to push a number to be transferred somewhere else, I get a constant loud beep that does not go away without turning the phone off. I do not know if anyone else noticed such problems or not.
It goes without saying that voiceover on iOS8 is the buggiest ever since the first release of voiceover several years back. I can't believe that apple chose to overlook all these bugs in spite of the warnings and notifications of the beta testers. It sounds that the genius of apple success embodied in seeking perfection or near perfection is now a relic of the past. The bugs are so many and blind users have to search for a work around for several important features. This basically makes me put on hold upgrading to iPhone six or six plus because I will be stuck with a buggy expensive phone should apple choose to ignore these problems as it did when it ignored the recommendations of the beta testers. This is perhaps a time to remember Steve Job who sought perfection before any product was released to all sectors of consumers. May god's mercy be upon him.
