Brian, my wife and I downloaded Thursday afternoon at the same time -- she to an iPhone 5C and me a Touch 5. We were on the same WIFI network. Her download took about 10 minutes, whereas mine took almost 2 hours. I don't think you can attribute the difference to the devices.
