As an aside, the native Reminders app supports multiple reminder list from one
or more accounts, so for example with my iCloud account I have multiple lists
like Follow-up, books to read, tasks, a shopping list, and so forth. These
aren’t exactly “categories”, but I did want to point out that you don’t have to
deal with just one list of all your tasks if you use the native Reminders app.
Since you can have multiple accounts, you could even have a tasks list that
syncs with your company Exchange server, but have a few personal reminder lists
on iCloud. You can deal with all of these lists in the one app.

Well, it has catagories--i.e. schedule, logbook, so forth that work better for
me and what I do with my job, and private teaching. And it has a someday
catagory that I so love. If Siri works for you I do not think you would care
for it. For me I have been looking for a to do app for a long time and tried
tons of them. This one is usually a bit pricey in the app store if I remember,
and it is free today.
