Overcast is ok, but still needs a way to go. It’s a more simple layout. Voiceover at least with my iPhone 5 is not as snappy though it can be considered a fully accessible app. Downcast for me, just offers a lot more options.
The one plus that Overcast does have over Downcast in my opinion is that it can play files at the 3x speed. While Downcast has this option, it hasn’t’ worked for quite a few updates now. Playback begins to skip at this level in Downcast making it unusable. I’ve written the dev about it and even though he says it’s on his list of bugs to fix, it’s never been addressed in any of the numerous updates since the skipping first started. Doubt it will be fixed at this point.
